Have you notice this facade restoration in Leboh Ampang?
The Leboh Ampang Heritage site is designated between Jalan Petaling and Bukit Nanas by the local authority, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL). This restoration project includes 30 units of old shophouses that are still relatively intact despite being built in the 1900’s.
The scope of work will include returning the facade of selected units that has high historical significance and preserving deterioting facades that were constructed from the 1900s to 1950s. As part of the first pilot project, two shop houses have been restored in collaboration with DBKL and CGB Consultants (Ar. Junn Ng, Conservation Architect).
